Role Overview

In the SCRL app, templates, stickers and frames help users turn their photos into standout carousels. You’ll be designing best-in-class templates, stickers, and frames that combine technical polish with high creative standards.

We’re looking for someone who lives for the craft of design. You care deeply about layout, realism, and nailing the perfect texture. You’re excited to experiment with AI tools but just as willing to get hands-on: photographing materials, scanning, or remixing assets to build something authentic.

You’ll be producing content yourself, helping set the standard for a new team that’s focused on becoming the best in the world at what we do.

We value your keen eye for photo layout and your coordination skills, as you’ll strongly contribute to the planning and execution of in-app content that inspires and supports our users.

What You’ll Do

• Produce popular templates: Research trends, analyze user-generated content, and design story and feed post templates that inspire and resonate with SCRL users.

• Coordinate the creative process: Handle everything from sourcing materials (stock photos, fonts, etc.) to collaborating with other designers in the team and implementing templates with the product team.

• Build and maintain a dynamic template ecosystem: Create a living, collaborative library that blends user-generated content with seasonal and trend-driven templates.

• Support key marketing moments: Plan and execute templates for campaigns like December Rewind and Valentine’s Day, driving engagement and elevating user experiences.

You Should Have:

• 3+ years of experience in creative production.

• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across teams, including marketing, design, and product.

• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design software.

• A creative sense and keen eye for photo layout.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with apps or tools for photographers and creators.

• Understanding of media/photo-sharing in social platforms and its requirements.

• Analytical abilities to assess template performance and guide improvements.
